P&O Cruises attract younger cruisers

P&O Cruises has made a breakthrough in attracting younger passengers to take up one of their cruise voyages it has been reported.

A report by TravelMole has found that P&O Cruises has tempted a younger clientele to their new ship Ventura for cruise holidays in its first season.

Manager Director Nigel Esdale told TravelMole that the average passenger age on the ships for its first season is 44, which is ten years younger than in general for the UK cruise market and three years older than the casual cruise brand Ocean Village.

It is believed that the drop in average age has come about due to the increase in popularity of family cruises. P&O Cruises have children’s favourite Noddy appearing on board some cruises on Ventura and even have a real life circus with trapeze artists on board the new super liner.
